There is no premium tier. The same Campday runs the smallest day camp and the largest multi-site organization.
Common questions
What counts as an active camper?
Any camper with at least one confirmed enrollment in the season. Waitlisted campers who never enrolled are not counted. Per-camper fees are billed at the end of the season based on actual enrollment.
Is the Stripe processing fee on top of the platform fee?
Yes. Stripe charges 3% + $0.30 per transaction and settles directly into your camp's bank account. Campday does not add a margin on top. You pay the processor directly.
When do I get billed?
The platform fee is due at signup and renews at the start of each new season. Per-camper fees are billed at the end of the season based on actual enrollment numbers.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No long-term contract. Pricing for future seasons may change with reasonable notice and never changes mid-season.
What happens if I need to cancel?
You can cancel before the next season renews. If you cancel mid-season, your access continues until the season ends. Per-camper fees for the current season are still due at close.
The fine print, plainly
We don't hide caps or surprise fees. Here's what “unlimited” and “included” actually mean.
- Unlimited campers, parents, items, and messages are sized for normal camp operations.
- SMS allocation: 50 SMS per registered camper per season, included in the platform fee. Additional messages are charged at $0.015 per message.
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe at 3% + $0.30 per transaction. Your camp is the merchant of record.
